This article covers 4 simple steps to help you get started.

It can be overwhelming looking at a blank dashboard and a side menu with features you're not sure what for when you first log in. You may wonder: "It seems a lot of features to explore. Where do I start?".

In this article, you'll find all the instructions you need to lead through setting up. Then you can start achieving goals with Workfacta.

Step 1 - Setting Up Users and Teams

After logging in and configuring the platform, you can begin with setting up your team and inviting users (your teammates). To do this, click on 'SETUP' on the side menu.

You'll find prefilled company information during the signup process showing on the platform already. Feel free to update more or upload your company logo!

Moving on to Users, to invite teammates, click on the blue plus icon next to Users. Make sure to send them invitations so that they can log in.

You are automatically logged in to the Management team as default. You can edit it on the Teams page.

Step 2 - Setting Goals

After setting up your team and teammates, you can start thinking about the goals that you want to achieve with the team, and putting them on the platform.

To input goals, go to Quarterly Planning > Goals on the side menu.

Here are some examples of common goals in the workplace. They should inspire you to come up with goals that suit your team.

  • A project that your team is working on

  • A marketing campaign you are building

  • A client you work with

Step 3 - Arrange a Meeting to Follow Up

Workfacta's built-in Meeting Agenda is designed to help teams conduct productive and efficient meetings.

It is recommended that you have regular meetings with your team every week. Therefore, a default meeting time is set at 9 am every Monday for the Management team during your sign-up.

To change the meeting time, go to 'SETUP' from the side menu and then Teams. For this example, click on the Management team and edit the meeting time.

Step 4 - Assign Actions to Achieve Goals

During the meeting you just arranged, you can review the goals with your team, and break them down into practical tasks that will lead to the completion of your goals. In the Workfacta platform, these tasks are called "Actions".

You will be able to see the Owner of the Actions and the due dates, track progress to make sure the goals are on target.
