Delegation in Workfacta allows you to create Goals/Actions from Team A to Team B and assign them to a user in Team B without access to Team B.

Who can delegate an item?
Any member of the team which has the permission to delegate can create, edit, and delegate an item to another team.
I don't see the option "Delegate to Another Team"
Make sure you've set the delegation permissions for your currently logged-in team.
Your current logged-in team appears at the top left corner of the platform
Go to Setup > Teams > select your current team and edit
Check your delegation permissions setting for the selected team
If you are not logged in the right team, click on the company at the top left corner to switch teams.
I don't see the right team in the drop down when I try to delegate an item
If you don't see the right team you want to delegate an item to, you want to check the delegation permissions setting for your current team.

Add or remove delegated teams
Save and you can now see the right team to delegate an item
How do I know if an Action or Goal is delegated?
If it's a delegated item, a delegation icon will display on both the sending and receiving teams' pages, e.g. meeting page, update page, dashboard widgets, .
Can I edit a delegated item?
It depends what team you're viewing the item as:
If you're logged in to the owning team, you can edit the delegated item.
If you log into the delegated team, you can only view the item and can't edit.
Will I get email notifications on the changes of a delegated item?
Both the owner and assignee will get email notifications on Actions when the original Action definition is edited.
However, editing a Goal in any way will not send an email, regardless of delegation status.
